St. Vincent's Minor Club Latest News 20/02/12
Our Minor team had a narrow win in the first round of the league against Clonguish. All players put in a great effort, but there is plenty of room for improvement in the weeks ahead.

We wish Dean Cosgrave a speedy recovery from injury received during the game.
A monster bingo fundraiser for St Vincents minor club, will be held on Sunday 11th March in the 98 hall Ballinamuck. There will be €3000 in prizes on offer. Make sure to put this date in the diary
The U/14 and U/16 teams have started training, as they prepare for their leagues in March.
Coaching continued this week in Ballinamuck and Drumlish national schools. Fixtures for schools competitions are now available. Drumlish have their first game on 19th March, while Ballinamuck have their first match on 12th March.
A number of players and coaches from St Vincents attended the goalkeeping course run by Damien Sheridan on the Astro pitch in Drumlish. A large turnout attended what was a very informative and enjoyable coaching session.
Free-taking coaching session will take place on the Astro pitch also on Monday 12th March at 8.00pm. This session will be coached by Pauric Davis, and Sean Mc Cormack.
All team managers should ensure members of their team panels attend this important coaching session.
A half day coaching course will tale place in Clonguish on Saturday February 25th Key speakers are Pat O Shea from Kerry, Philip Kerr from Derry, and Paudie Butler from Tipperary. A wide variety of coaching topics will be covered. All managers and team mentors are encouraged to attend. The course will last from 10.00 to 1.00pm.
